About the Captain

Hi, I’m Captain Monty an avid fisherman, local firefighter, and proud family man with deep roots here on the beautiful Gulf Coast. When I’m not serving the community at the firehouse, you’ll find me out on the water doing what I love most: fishing and sharing that passion with others.

With years of experience navigating our local waters, I’ve had the honor of winning both the Bog Championship and the Winter Classic, two local tournaments that mean a lot to our tight-knit fishing community. Whether we’re targeting redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, or whatever’s biting, I enjoy teaching new techniques and helping people have a fun and successful day on the water.

What makes it even better? Getting to meet new folks from all over and showing them the incredible fishing we’re lucky to have right here along the Gulf Coast.

I’m also a husband and dad to two awesome kids—a boy and a girl—who remind me every day why I love what I do.
